the worst run on last friday

We planned to stop by Sulzburg before heading to Bad Gastein last Friday. But no matter how we planned, things could go unexpected: Max forgot to buy train tickets earlier.

And he just realized it right before we headed out to catch our train. In another words, we needed extra time on the way to catch the train, and we might not be able to catch the train.

As he murmured, "we are not going to catch the train, we are not going to catch the train" on the way out, I assured him, "we still can if we can go a little faster. we can run."

For what I'd said, I paid a great price . It turned out to be the worst run ever in my life and I wouldn't want to experience it ever again! Train was about to leave in 4 minutes, and we had to run a distance of 2.5 trains long.

With a heavy backpack ib my back, there was no way I could run fast. After a few meters, I just couldn't lift my legs high enough to strike. I had to walk. But I had to run. my chest was in pain, my throat was sore. I felt I could collapse on the ground at any moments.

Eventually, we caught the train. but i was so unhappy about this rush. I was so determined at that moment that I will leave earlier for anywhere I am going in future!!!

Jiajia, relax now and massage your feet...

I understand how you feel cause i had the same experience in Shanghai catching the train to Beijing...totally last minute. well, i can't blame myself though, i was early but i got an accident when packing - the razor cut my finger..so i had to deal with the bleeding. and then the taxi driver was like "can you make it?" i said, "let's try." and he was so nice to drive fast. i had a huge luggage and its handle was broken..plus a backpack...imagine that, but i got lucky to ran into a man at the stairs who helped passengers carry their luggages as a way to earn money..he was running with me to the train and he said: "your luggage was so heavy." i gave him extra tips cause he saved my day.

that's nice. at the end, both you and the person who helped you were happy.
the tax driver i encountered when i was in shanghai was also very friendly. how interesting....

by the way, do you have any specific plan about when to take driving classes? this summer?

yeah, the taxi driver in Shanghai who drove me from the Pudong airport to the campus of Yongji University was super nice! he drove me inside the campus and dropped me off near my dorm. i gave him tip, he said: "no thanks." so he did not accept the tip.

and i don't have any intention to take driving classes this summer, rather, i picked up the GRE again..here i go again...
